In Andijan's Orikzor neighborhood, a 24/7 gastronomic tourism zone covering Mashrab and Sarikuy streets has begun operations. The total cost of the project amounted to 18 billion soums.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the gastronomic tourism street established in the Orikzor neighborhood of Andijan city.
This project, which covers Mashrab and Sarikuy streets, cost a total of 18 billion soums. Of this, 8 billion soums was funded from the republican budget, and 10 billion soums from the funds of entrepreneurs.
The length of the street is 1.2 kilometers. Wide and safe paths for pedestrians and bicycles were built here, a modern landscape design was created, and fountains and various lighting fixtures were installed. Selfie zones, outdoor sports fields, eco-playgrounds for children, and family recreation areas were also established.
In 35 commercial facilities in the area, 30 business entities provide services on a 24/7 basis. Within the framework of the project, 100 new jobs were created. The street can accommodate more than 10 thousand residents and tourists per day.
During his walk along the street, the head of state had a warm conversation with residents and entrepreneurs.
