Shavkat Mirziyoyev solemnly presented these awards to a group of entrepreneurs who were awarded honorary titles, orders and medals. The press service of the president reported this.

In accordance with the decree of the President of Uzbekistan, a group of entrepreneurs who make a worthy contribution to increasing the country's development and export potential, ensuring sustainable growth of the national economy, attracting investments, producing import-substituting products, expanding modern services, creating new jobs and sources of income were awarded state awards.

Also, entrepreneurs who set an example in the sustainable development of the national economy, further improving the business environment, creating a school of best practices and traditions in the field of entrepreneurship, increasing production and export potential, and introducing innovative technologies were awarded the "Active Entrepreneur" badge.

Today, on August 18, the award ceremony was held. The President sincerely congratulated those gathered on the "Entrepreneurs' Day".

It was noted that Uzbek businessmen, effectively using the created opportunities, are achieving significant results in various sectors of the economy with their initiative, knowledge and experience.

They are implementing new investment projects, expanding the production of export-oriented and import-substituting products, establishing modern services, and creating new jobs and sources of income for the population.

"In particular, it was recognized that the ranks of entrepreneurs who are forming advanced experience and traditions in their fields, and who are introducing innovative technologies into business with their inquisitiveness, creative ideas and initiatives, are expanding," the report says.

In accordance with the noble tradition formed at the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, advanced entrepreneurs are awarded high awards every year. This year, when selecting candidates, special attention was paid to entrepreneurs who have demonstrated tangible results in increasing production and exports, attracting investment, ensuring employment and well-being of the population, as well as active participation in social life.
