The President paid tribute to the memory of Kallibek Kamalov
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has arrived in the Republic of Karakalpakstan. Before starting his trip, the head of state visited the home of the prominent state and public figure Kallibek Kamalov. Surahs from the Quran were recited and a prayer was offered for the deceased.

The Head of State recalled his worthy life path, good deeds, and merits in the development of his native land. He emphasized that honoring the memory of the departed and showing respect to elders serve as an example for the younger generation.
Kallibek Kamalov, who passed away in February of this year, held leadership positions in Karakalpakstan for many years and made a great contribution to the socio-economic development of the region, the development of industry and agriculture, as well as to improving the lives of the population.
In recent years, as chairman of the public council of veterans, he actively participated in supporting the older generation, strengthening harmony, and educating the youth. His merits were recognized with the "Shuhrat" medal and the "El-yurt hurmati" order.
