The President laid a wreath at the Independence Monument

The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Legislative Chamber and Senate of the Oliy Majlis, the Presidential Administration, the Cabinet of Ministers, and the Tashkent city community.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the "New Uzbekistan" park and laid a wreath at the foot of the Independence Monument.

This magnificent complex reflects the centuries-old history of our people, the images of our great scholars and world-renowned ancestors, as well as important events in the development of our country.

The Humo bird at the top of the monument represents the ideals of freedom and goodness, the noble aspirations of our people.

Representatives of the Legislative Chamber and Senate of the Oliy Majlis, the Presidential Administration, the Cabinet of Ministers, and the Tashkent city community attended this ceremony, held on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of our homeland's independence.
