Today, Shavkat Mirziyoyev will participate in a solemn event dedicated to the 35th anniversary of independence

Today, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will take part in a number of important events. First, the head of state will visit the Martyrs' Memorial Alley and participate in a ceremony commemorating the victims of repression. After that, a wreath-laying ceremony will be held at the Independence Monument in the New Uzbekistan Park.

In the afternoon, President Mirziyoyev will take part in a solemn event dedicated to the 35th anniversary of our country's independence and congratulate the people of Uzbekistan on this auspicious date.

For your information, last year, the main solemn event dedicated to Independence Day was held on August 29.
