It is planned to launch the "Pensiya" application in Uzbekistan. This was announced by the Director of the Pension Fund, Murodbek Otajonov, at a press conference held on September 25.
"We are working on creating a new 'Pensiya' mobile application. We will announce the application in October. The project is the fund's main IT-related direction. Citizens do not know how much social tax their employer has paid for them. They are also not aware in advance of how much their pension amount will be. Our 'Pensiya' application will answer these questions. Opportunities will also be created to invest the funds accumulated from the funded part of the pension," said Murodbek Otajonov.
Earlier, it was reported that a draft resolution envisaging changes to the current pension system had been put up for discussion.
The draft resolution also provided for the creation of the "Pensiya" mobile application. Through it, citizens will be able to use pension-related government services online, check their work experience and income, calculate their future pension amount, and manage their pension savings. The application is planned to be launched in April 2027.
As a reminder, this project proposes to increase the retirement age by 3 months every year starting from 2028. By 2039, it will reach 63 years for men and 58 years for women. It is also envisaged that the minimum work experience required for pension allocation will be increased to 15 years by 2034.
