Marat Hamdamov, owner of the «Imarat Development» construction project, procedurally detained

Marat Hamdamov, the owner of the «Imarat Development» construction project, has been involved as a suspect in a criminal case investigated by the Tashkent City Main Department of Internal Affairs and detained under Article 227 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

This comes against the backdrop of problems that arose after apartments in the company's projects were not handed over to clients within the promised (contractual) deadlines.

On November 1, the Investigation Department of the Tashkent City Main Department of Internal Affairs initiated a criminal case against the management of «Imarat Development» Limited Liability Company, located on Buyuk Avlod Avenue in Sergeli district, under Article 168 (Fraud) and Article 192-11 (Abuse of powers by officials) of the Criminal Code.

Requirement for advance warning of mobile radars on roads abolished

The Cabinet of Ministers decision regarding the installation of road signs warning of radars has been amended.

Under the previous procedure, starting from September 1, 2025, it was mandatory to install the «Radar» road sign in areas where stationary and mobile radars of any type monitoring speed were located, as well as at a distance of 250–500 meters ahead of them.

In the new decision, this clause was reworded, replacing the phrase "stationary and mobile radars of any type" with "stationary radar". As a result, mobile radars were excluded from the scope of this mandatory requirement.

In addition, amendments were also made to the clause regarding sign 5.43 — «Radar» in the Traffic Rules. According to it, the sign will be installed at a distance of 250–500 meters only to places monitored using stationary radars.
