The number of LLCs in Uzbekistan has reached 356.8 thousand

According to the National Statistics Committee, as of August 1, 2026, there are 445.7 thousand commercial organizations operating in Uzbekistan. Of these, 356.8 thousand are limited liability companies (LLCs).

LLCs account for 80.1 percent of all commercial organizations. In terms of organizational and legal forms, private enterprises rank second with 47,241, which is equal to 10.6 percent. Family enterprises number 37,345, with their share standing at 8.4 percent.

In addition, there are 646 joint-stock companies (0.1 percent) and 3,653 commercial organizations of other organizational and legal forms (0.8 percent) operating in the country.

As of August 1, 2025, it was reported that 462.2 thousand enterprises and organizations were operating in Uzbekistan (compared to 461.1 thousand in the corresponding period of 2024). Of these, nearly 392.4 thousand (84.9 percent) were small enterprises and micro-firms.

The share of the trade sector in the total number of enterprises was the highest, accounting for 32.6 percent overall. Industry ranked second (12.7 percent), and agriculture, forestry, and fisheries ranked third (7.4 percent).
