The number of foreign tourists who visited Uzbekistan in 9 months exceeded 10 million people

In January-September 2026, 10.3 million foreign tourists visited Uzbekistan, which is 20.4 percent more compared to the corresponding period of last year. In September alone, 1.2 million tourists arrived. The highest growth was recorded from China and Malaysia.

In January-September 2026, 10.3 million foreign tourists visited Uzbekistan. In September alone, 1.2 million tourists arrived in the country. The highest growth rate in tourist visits was recorded from China, with this indicator increasing by 2.1 times.

Additionally, the number of visitors from Germany and the United Kingdom increased by 25 percent, from France by 21 percent, and from Turkey by 15 percent. During this period, the export of tourism services reached 5.3 billion dollars.

In the first half of 2026, more than 6.5 million foreign tourists visited Uzbekistan. Nearly 5 million of the tourists came from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan.

In particular, 3.2 million foreign and 4.1 million domestic tourists visited Tashkent during this period. During this time, the export of tourism services reached 1.3 billion dollars, and 140 new accommodation facilities were launched in the city.
