The new Dacia Hipster city car has been presented

The Dacia Hipster concept, which was revealed in 2025, will have a mass-production version. Autocar writes about this, citing a source close to the project. According to the publication, production of the model will start as early as next year. Assembly will be established at a factory in China.

Nevertheless, the car will also go on sale in other markets around the world. For example, in the UK, the starting price of the city car will be approximately £9.5 thousand (about 150 million soums).

The new car is being seen as the successor to the Dacia Spring model. The length of the small city car will be approximately 3 meters. The car will be provided with an angular body shape and a four-seater cabin. The vehicle will be powered by an electric drivetrain.

The technical details of the production model have not yet been disclosed. It is only known that the car will be equipped with a 15 kWh battery.

Interestingly, the Dacia Hipster concept did not have an on-board media system. Thanks to BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) technology, its function could be performed by the driver's personal smartphone or tablet. Most likely, the exact same system will be used in the production version of the prototype.
