The new BMW iX4 in the Neue Klasse style has been presented

BMW has unveiled the new iX4 model, featuring two electric motors and yellow headlights as an additional option. It will go on sale in March 2027.

New BMW iX4 revealed in Neue Klasse style

BMW has announced the new iX4 electric crossover as the third model in the Neue Klasse family, alongside the iX3 and i3 models.

The main difference of the new car is a much more sloping roofline compared to the brand's conventional crossovers. In the standard version, the car is presented with M Sport style trims.

The iX4 50 xDrive model will go on sale in March 2027. According to Carscoops, the starting price in the US will be $66,200 (approximately 780 million soums). Production will be established at the BMW plant in Debrecen, Hungary.

In the initial period of sales launch, not all configurations will be fully available.

**Technical specifications of the iX4 50 xDrive**

**Engine:** dual electric motors, all-wheel drive (AWD); power — 463 horsepower (345 kW), torque — 644 N·m.

**Dynamics:** 0–96 km/h acceleration — 4.7 seconds, top speed — 209 km/h.

**Battery and range:** usable capacity — 112.2 kWh, estimated maximum range — 689 km.

**Charging:** 800-volt architecture, supports DC fast charging up to 400 kW. Under favorable conditions, the range can be replenished up to 296 km in 10 minutes; charging from 10 to 80 percent takes 21 minutes. There is also a bidirectional charging system.

Later in 2027, a higher-performance iX4 M60 xDrive modification is also expected to be introduced. The model will be equipped with engines with a total output of 612 horsepower, and the electric vehicle will reach 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds.

The iX4 M60 model will be equipped with M adaptive suspension, an M Sport electronic rear differential, upgraded chassis settings, and standard 21-inch wheels. Yellow headlights inspired by BMW racing cars will be offered as an additional option.
