The Ministry of Transport and the Tashkent Khokimiyat launch a temporary bus route for students

Starting September 7, a temporary bus route "Mirzo Ulugbek Metro Station – UzSWLU" will begin operating in Tashkent, introduced for the convenience of students in connection with the start of the 2026/2027 academic year.

The additional transport will be organized by the capital's khokimiyat together with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation and the Ministry of Transport.

The route is launched to reduce the load on the metro system and prevent traffic congestion. Buses will run from the "Mirzo Ulugbek" metro station via Takhtagul Street, the Small Ring Road, Lutfi and Kukcha Darvoza streets to Zakovat Street, where the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages is located.

The new route will operate during the morning rush hours — from 07:00 to 08:00. Four high-capacity buses will run on the line.
