In Tashkent, a contract for consulting services was signed as part of the project to build a new 265-bed oncology center. This facility will become a significant part of the medical cluster being created in the capital jointly with the Export-Import Bank of Korea.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Health, the document was signed by Minister of Health Eldor Adilov and Lee Won-seok, Vice President of the Korean company AUM & LEE Architects & Associates. During the meeting, the parties discussed further stages of construction.

The AUM & LEE consortium will provide consultations on design, construction management and control, selection of medical equipment, as well as planning of medical services and the information system.

A three-stage practical training program on the quality of medical services, radiology, nuclear medicine, and radiation therapy is planned for the center's staff. The Minister emphasized the importance of high-quality construction of the center and expressed confidence in the experience of the Korean side.
