The minimum hourly wage for construction workers will increase
A new presidential decree on the construction sector is being developed. It provides for stimulating the activities of contracting and design organizations in the construction sector, as well as increasing the minimum hourly wage for construction workers and equalizing its amount in all regions.

The presidential decree approved measures to implement the tasks set out in the open dialogue of the head of state with entrepreneurs.
According to the decree, a draft presidential resolution will be developed by January 2027 on measures to stimulate the activities of contracting and design organizations in the construction sector and introduce new mechanisms for their development.
This draft provides for the following:
* Stimulating the activities of contracting and design organizations in the construction sector.
* Increasing the minimum hourly wage for construction workers and equalizing its amount in all regions.
* Establishing the planned profit of contracting organizations in the estimated cost of construction and installation work carried out at the expense of the state budget funds at up to 7 percent.
* Improving the volume of financing design work based on the level of complexity and specific features of the facility.
* Reduce the advance payment on fees for engineering communication infrastructure from 20% to 5%.
The draft resolution should be ready in January 2027.
