From September 1, salaries of budget employees and student scholarships will increase by 7 percent
In accordance with the Presidential Decree of June 23, from July 1, pensions, benefits and material assistance provided to families included in the Social Register will be suspended.

From September 1, 2026, salaries of employees of budget organizations and student scholarships in Uzbekistan will be increased by 7%. At the same time, new values of the minimum wage and the basic calculation amount will be introduced.
This was stipulated in the presidential decree of June 23.
This increase is the second stage of indexation of social payments and incomes in 2026. Earlier, from July 1, pensions, benefits and material assistance to families included in the Social Register were also increased by 7%.
After the July increase, the minimum old-age pension was 983 thousand soums, and the minimum disability pension was 1 million 83 thousand soums.
It is worth noting that an increase in the base calculation amount will also lead to an increase in the amount of state duties, fees, fines, and a number of other payments.
