The head of the department of construction and housing and communal services was detained in the Khorezm region.
An operational event was conducted in cooperation with the Khorezm regional department of the Department under the General Prosecutor's Office and other law enforcement agencies.
During the event, the head of the Koshkupir district department of construction and housing and communal services, R.A., was caught with physical evidence while receiving 700 USD and 3.6 million soums out of a promised 1,000 USD. In exchange for this money, he promised to change the status of citizen J.P.'s non-residential building to residential through his acquaintances working in the regional main department of construction and housing and communal services.
Regarding this situation, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 168 (fraud) and Articles 28, 211 (bribe-giving) of the Criminal Code, and investigative actions are underway.
