Deputy head of polyclinic caught with $1,500

A medical official in Navoi region was allegedly caught accepting $1,500 in exchange for a job as a nurse. A criminal case has been opened on charges of fraud.

The deputy head of the polyclinic was detained with a bribe of $ 1,500.

As a result of an operational operation conducted in cooperation with the Nurota district department of the Department under the Prosecutor General's Office and other law enforcement agencies, the deputy head of the Central Polyclinic of the Gozgan City Medical Association F.T. promised to employ citizen O.A. as a nurse in the city medical association.

He demanded $ 1,500 in exchange for this service.

During the operational operation, F.T. was detained with material evidence while receiving the requested money.

A criminal case has been initiated under Article 168 (fraud) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and investigative actions are currently underway.
