The First Ladies of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan visited the Center for Islamic Civilization
Ziroat Mirziyoyeva and Mehriban Aliyeva visited the Center for Islamic Civilization in Tashkent and viewed its exhibits.

The wives of the presidents of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan visited the Center for Islamic Civilization.
As part of their joint visit to Tashkent, First Lady Ziroat Mirziyoyeva of Uzbekistan and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva of Azerbaijan visited the Center for Islamic Civilization. They viewed exhibitions dedicated to the history, culture, and spiritual heritage of Uzbekistan, as well as the historical ties between the two peoples.
Ziroat Mirziyoyeva and Mehriban Aliyeva toured the "Pre-Islamic Civilizations" hall, exhibits dedicated to the First and Second Renaissances, and the "New Uzbekistan" hall.
The First Ladies also examined museum exhibits reflecting the centuries-old historical and cultural ties between the peoples of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.
Finally, they visited the Hall of the Quran, the spiritual and architectural center of the exhibition. The hall's highlight is the Mushaf of Usman, one of the oldest surviving manuscripts of the Holy Quran.
This monument of Islamic written culture dates back to the 7th century and is included in the UNESCO Memory of the World Register.
During the meeting, the importance of further strengthening humanitarian and cultural ties between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan was noted. The parties also emphasized the shared history, cultural traditions, and spiritual values that unite the peoples of the two countries.
