The case of the mother and child hit by a car: Details of the traffic accident in Zangiata
On September 15, in front of School No. 39 in the Zangiota district of the Tashkent region, a Chery car driver ran over a mother and child who were crossing the pedestrian crossing. The regional Road Safety Department reported the day after the incident that "the pedestrians were discharged from the hospital as their health had improved." However, the mother was hospitalized on September 16 due to her worsening condition.

On the morning of September 15, a traffic accident occurred opposite School No. 39, located in the Zangiota district of the Tashkent region. A Chery car hit a mother and child who were crossing the road at a designated pedestrian crossing. The regional Traffic Safety Department provided information regarding this accident on September 16.
It was noted therein that "since the health of the pedestrians improved, they were discharged from the hospital." Following this report, the patient's aunt contacted the editorial office, stating that her niece is currently in the hospital.
The patient was sent home after the accident
Following the traffic accident, the woman and her son were brought to the Zangiota District Medical Association. However, later, after placing her child under observation, they sent him to the pediatric neurosurgery department of the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Care of the Tashkent region.
The woman said she did not feel well that day, but despite this, she was sent home after the examinations. After returning home, her condition did not improve. Her fever rose during the night, her pain intensified, and a doctor neighbor kept giving her injections throughout the night.
Fayzullakhoja Eshonkhojayev, the doctor who received the patient on the day of the incident, stated that at that time, there were no grounds to hospitalize the woman.
"According to the medical report, we initially diagnosed the mother with a traffic accident injury, contusions in the chin area, facial areas, and knee areas of the legs, skin abrasions, and traumatic fractures of three teeth of the upper jaw. We made the diagnosis in consultation with specialists. This tooth fracture does not fall under minor injuries. We gave this woman such a diagnosis, indeed, no condition requiring hospitalization was identified," the doctor said.
The patient returned to the hospital again
Seeing that her condition had worsened on September 16, the patient's aunt called an ambulance.
"On Wednesday morning, I went to my niece's house to see her. When I arrived, her condition was serious. She was lying down crying, unable to lift her head. Her teeth were broken, and her legs were also painful. Then I immediately called an ambulance, and we came here with her. They took an X-ray," she said. "When I asked, 'Well, show us the X-ray sheet, show the X-ray from the day before,' they didn't show it at first. Then they showed it on the computer. They said, 'Everything is fine on the X-ray, there is no concussion,'"
