The brother of the four-year-old girl who died after being beaten by her stepmother in Qashqadaryo has been placed under the guardianship of a close relative. Currently, the child is being monitored by specialists, and is receiving psychological and medical assistance.

The child is under the supervision of specialists from the National Agency for Social Protection. A medical examination has already been arranged for him, and he is receiving psychological support. If necessary, they are ready to provide him with medical treatment.

Following his change of residence, specialists are also helping the child continue his studies. A social worker has opened an individual case file and is developing a plan for further assistance, taking the child's situation into account.

The minor's safety, health, and living conditions will remain under the constant supervision of the Agency's specialists.

The tragedy occurred on September 26 in the Kasbi district of the Qashqadaryo region. The four-year-old girl died after beatings which, according to the investigation, were inflicted by her stepmother.

A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident, and the suspect has been detained. The investigation is being conducted by the Qashqadaryo regional prosecutor's office. A final legal assessment of the incident will be provided upon completion of the investigation.
