The capital's administration has promised not to transform the well-known Yangiabad market into a standard modern shopping mall. The flea market's reconstruction will preserve its unique specialization, characteristic atmosphere, and jobs for the current vendors.

The market will be equipped with proper sanitary conditions, improved security, comfortable passageways, and parking areas. The project also includes infrastructure development and general improvements.

City authorities are currently working with architects to develop a concept for the renovation of Yangiabad. This concept is planned for public discussion, so that residents, visitors, and vendors can review the proposals and express their comments.

The start and completion dates for the work have not yet been announced.

It was previously reported that the Kadyshev Market in Tashkent will be improved, the area will be landscaped, and the parking lot will be improved.
