A new ecozone will be created in Tashkent's Yunusabad district.

According to Podrobno.uz, a new public ecozone will be created in Tashkent's Yunusabad district. It will include green spaces, walking paths, and recreation areas. The project was developed based on suggestions from local residents.

The new area will be located at the intersection of Moykurgon and Binkat Streets. The site is currently being cleared and prepared for landscaping, according to the press service of the Yunusabad district administration.

In addition to the existing green spaces, 1,800 ornamental trees and 3,000 shrubs of six different species are planned to be planted. A drip irrigation system will ensure the new plants receive the necessary water.

Flowerbeds and pedestrian paths will also be created, along with several recreation areas. Benches and trash bins will be installed for the convenience of visitors, and the area will be illuminated by a street lighting system in the evening. It was previously reported that Yangishahar Street in the capital's Yunusabad district is also planned to be transformed into a tourist zone. It will feature 24-hour retail outlets and recreational areas.
