Test: Do you know Chustiy's works?
Nabikhon Khojayev, who wrote under the pseudonym Chustiy, died 43 years ago in August. The newspaper prepared a test in memory of the author of such poems as "Gul Samoshoni", "Hayotnoma", "Sadoqat Gullari" and "Kongil Tilagi".

Nabikhon Khojayev was born in February 1904 in the city of Chust, Namangan region. He studied at old schools and madrasahs in Kokand and became literate. The poet began writing poetry at the age of 18-20. In 1930-1939, he worked in collective farms and publishing houses, and in 1940-1946 at the Uzbek State Musical Drama Theater named after Mukimiy. In 1944-1945, he headed the Writers' Union. In 1970-1976, the artist worked as a research fellow at the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, and also worked as a translator in publishing houses.
His collection "Flower Season" was published in 1969, eight years later - "Ghazals", in 1988 - "Hayotnoma", in 1992-1994 - "Sadoqat gullari" and "Kongil tilagi", as well as the book "Korguncha khair endi" in 2004 were published.
Chustiy, the author of the epics "Bogi Eram", "Tirik jannatga kirgan kampir" and "Kiyiknoma", translated the works of such creators as Khusrav Dehlavi and Sabir Termizi into Uzbek. He died on August 13, 1983.
