Technological revolution in China: robots are now being produced by robots themselves

A technological revolution is taking place in China: now, robots themselves are manufacturing robots. China's UBTECH Robotics company has launched the world's first robotic factory complex. The enterprise has the capacity to produce up to 10,000 humanoid robots per year. "Oxu.az" reported on this.
The factory is located in the city of Liuzhou in southern China, namely in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Its capability is sufficient to produce one robot every 10 minutes.
The project relies on the most advanced planning technologies and industrial simulation systems. One of the key aspects of the production process is that here, robots are making robots. Thus, China has started the mass production of humanoid robots in a factory, rather than in a laboratory.
The factory covers an area of 14,000 square meters. Here, intelligent industrial robots belonging mainly to the Walker S and Cruzr series are produced. The complex was built with the participation of Germany's Siemens Digital Industries Software. The management system fully controls all stages of the process digitally, including order planning, raw material delivery, and quality control.
On the production line, humanoid robots themselves unload cargo and transport materials. Each newly manufactured machine is tested for more than four hours. The "smart" system, which uses driverless forklifts and vehicles, covers the entire chain — from assembling parts to testing and storing the finished product.
