Teachers in Uzbekistan can apply online for a mortgage subsidy

Educators with the highest qualification category and at least 15 years of work experience can submit an application for a subsidy via my.gov.uz or the MyGov app.

Educators in Uzbekistan who meet the established requirements can apply online for a state housing subsidy via the Single Portal of Interactive Public Services (my.gov.uz) or through the MyGov mobile app.

To submit an application, one needs to log in to the portal or app, select the "Housing Subsidy for Educators" service, enter the required information, and submit the application.

Documents can also be submitted through Public Services Centers. Submitting an application is free of charge.

According to Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 69 dated February 19, 2026, the state will cover 25% of the down payment on a refinanced mortgage loan using budget funds.

Educators under the age of 60 who have at least 15 years of work experience and the highest qualification category corresponding to the position of chief teacher are eligible for the subsidy.

The program covers employees of educational institutions at all levels — from schools and academic lyceums to technical schools, colleges, and higher educational institutions.

The subsidy is intended for purchasing apartments on the primary housing market. Property can be purchased at the applicant's place of permanent residence. An exception is provided for residents of Tashkent: they can also receive a subsidy to purchase housing in the Tashkent Region.

When reviewing applications, the educator's work experience and current place of work, the presence of the highest qualification category, credit history, as well as information about real estate owned by the applicant and their spouse are verified.

In particular, they must not have two or more residential real estate properties registered in their names. In addition, neither spouse should have previously received a housing subsidy.

Up to 200 billion soums are planned to be allocated annually from the state budget to implement the program.
