Tashkent took first place in the Progressive Rating of regions of Uzbekistan
The Center for Progressive Reforms has presented the Progressive Rating of regions for the third time, which assesses the socio-economic development of the regions and the city of Tashkent.
The study includes seven main areas: healthcare, education, economy, infrastructure, opportunities, public safety, and the environment.
The rating is compiled based on the results of a three-year monitoring, which makes it possible to assess not only the current position of the regions, but also the dynamics of changes in their indicators.
According to the results of the study, the city of Tashkent showed the highest results in four out of seven areas at once — education, economy, infrastructure, and opportunities.
In addition, the capital was among the regions with the highest indicators in the field of healthcare.
The authors of the rating emphasize that the integrated approach allows for comparing the development of regions across several areas at once and tracking changes in indicators over several years.
