Deputy Khokim of Tashkent Region Jakhongir Mamazhonov held talks with representatives of the FLORIVA BERRY company in the Serbian city of Ivanjica. During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for establishing modern raspberry plantations in the region, introducing modern agricultural technologies, as well as expanding cooperation in the field of berry production and processing.
Representatives of the Serbian company reported that FLORIVA BERRY has more than 50 years of experience in raspberry cultivation.
The company produces certified planting material that undergoes laboratory testing, is virus-free, and is intended for professional plantations.
In addition to supplying planting material, the company provides consulting services on organizing the full production cycle — from establishing plantations to growing products.
At the meeting, FLORIVA BERRY presented raspberry varieties that are being considered for industrial production and entry into new sales markets. Among them are Willamette and Enrosadira.
In addition, the company showed blackberry seedlings of the Loch Ness, Ponca, Black Satin, Triple Crown, Chester, Dana, and Black Gem varieties.
According to the company, FLORIVA BERRY has conducted trials of raspberry varieties in various climatic conditions and has practical experience in cultivating this crop in CIS countries. The company also cooperates with professional producers, investors, and wholesale buyers.
The parties discussed the possibility of implementing joint projects in the Tashkent region. Among the areas under consideration are the creation of modern raspberry plantations, the introduction of high-yielding varieties, deep processing of grown products, and the manufacture of export-oriented goods.
Following the negotiations, the parties outlined further practical steps to develop cooperation, study existing opportunities, and implement promising projects in the field of berry cultivation and processing.
