A meeting dedicated to the socio-economic development of the Andijan region, supporting entrepreneurship, and increasing public income is being held under the chairmanship of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

A subsidy of 500,000 soums per ton will be allocated to farmers who sell cotton on the exchange, as well as to the clusters that purchase it. Clusters that grow cotton on their own land will receive a subsidy of 1.5 million soums per hectare.
Responsible officials have been instructed to prepare calculations for compensating, over a period of three years, the portion of interest on foreign currency loans for exporters of finished products that exceeds 5 percent, as well as on national currency loans that exceeds 14 percent.
In addition, proposals will be prepared regarding the refund of 3 percent of the value of products sold through marketplaces.
