Starting October 1, veterans and liquidators of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant will receive discounted tickets for transportation.

Uzbekistan is expanding transportation benefits for disabled people and war veterans, as well as for those who participated in the liquidation of the consequences of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant accident.

Starting October 1, 2026, citizens in these categories will receive free or 50 percent discounted tickets on air, rail, and intercity bus transport.

To obtain a discounted ticket, you only need to present an identity document.

Starting January 1, 2027, it will be possible to purchase discounted tickets through the "Baraka" mobile app.

As a reminder, paper coupons for discounted travel will be abolished in Uzbekistan.
