Portugal national team forward and captain Cristiano Ronaldo may return to the national team next year. He had previously left the national team due to a disagreement with head coach Jorge Jesus.
"He really wants to score his final goal for the Portuguese national team. I think he will return at the end of the season to score his 1000th goal for Portugal."
Ronaldo could easily score 15-20 goals for Al-Nassr this season, but he primarily wants to achieve results with the national team. And I still think this will happen.
For now, I think contact is being established between Cristiano's camp and Jesus's camp. The Portuguese Football Federation is very interested in Cristiano because he caused a huge sensation, and I think Cristiano will return for a match with the national team at the end of next year," Pereira said.
As a reminder, the 41-year-old forward has scored 979 goals in official matches during his career. He became a European champion with the Portugal national team and has also won the Nations League twice.
