A small plane crashed near Space Coast Regional Airport in Titusville, Florida, officials said.

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), which is investigating the incident, identified the aircraft as a Mooney M20F, a four-seat propeller plane.

Video of the crash shows a fireball on a road that the Titusville Police Department said has been shut in both directions.

It was not immediately clear whether anyone was injured.

According to local police, the incident occurred off the state’s east coast, 40 miles (64 km) due east of Orlando, at around 10:00 EST (15:00 BST).

The Titusville Police Department said power was cut in nearby areas as a precaution by Florida Power and Light.
