"An F-4 Phantom fighter jet crashed during a demonstration flight in Tanagra," it was reported.

According to the report, the aircraft plunged down just a few minutes after takeoff, hit the ground, and broke into two.

A fire broke out in both parts of the aircraft. Eleven helicopters and airplanes were deployed to extinguish the fire.

According to the latest information, both pilots of the aircraft have died.
