On September 7–8, Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay an official visit to Serbia at the invitation of Aleksandar Vučić. The negotiations and business forum in Belgrade will discuss expanding cooperation in the fields of trade, industry, IT, and labor migration.

At the invitation of the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay an official visit to this country on September 7-8, the president's press service reports.

According to the visit program, high-level negotiations and a business forum with the participation of officials and business representatives of the two countries will be organized in Belgrade.

The agenda of the upcoming meetings includes issues of further strengthening the Uzbekistan-Serbia multifaceted partnership.

Special attention will be paid to expanding trade, economic, and investment cooperation, as well as implementing joint projects in priority areas such as transport, mechanical engineering, light and food industries, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, and information technologies, the report says.

In addition, issues of establishing cooperation in the field of organized labor migration, and expanding interregional, cultural, and humanitarian ties will also be discussed.

At the end of the summit, a significant package of intergovernmental and interdepartmental agreements is planned to be adopted.

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, paid an official visit to Uzbekistan on October 28, 2025.

Following the negotiations involving the presidents of the two countries, a Joint Declaration was signed between Uzbekistan and Serbia.

More than 10 documents were adopted in various fields, including investment promotion, economic cooperation, and labor migration.
