Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Artificial Intelligence Center in Baliqchi district and got acquainted with startup projects prepared by young people.

This center, established by the "Akademiya IT Star" enterprise, was built on the basis of the head of state's decree dated February 26, 2024, on the development of service exports in the field of digitalization.

Information technologies are becoming one of the most in-demand fields among youth. Therefore, expanding conditions in the regions for mastering modern IT professions, developing practical skills, and creating competitive software products is of great importance.

The total value of the project is 15 billion soums, and 100 jobs have been created.

The center allows rural and district youth to acquire modern knowledge and professions in their place of residence without going to other regions. Education is provided here in the fields of marketing, programming, and robotics, and young people apply the knowledge they have gained in practical projects.

Local entrepreneurs are also effectively using the institution's capabilities. They are provided with consulting and IT services on business development based on artificial intelligence. To date, services totaling 8.5 billion soums have been provided to more than 500 business entities.

Today, the demand for SMM managers, mobilographers, graphic designers, marketers, data analysts, and artificial intelligence specialists for 65,000 business entities in the region exceeds 129,000 people. The educational programs at the center are formed precisely based on this demand.

The head of state got closely acquainted with the startups created by the youth and highly praised their knowledge and intellectual potential. During the sincere conversation, the young men and women expressed their new initiatives and proposals aimed at further developing the startup ecosystem in our country.
