Shavkat Mirziyoyev: Uzbekistan will strengthen its role as a key center of global diplomacy
Uzbek President Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev reaffirmed the country's commitment to a multi-vector, thoughtful, and balanced foreign policy.
"We will continue to pursue a multifaceted, balanced, and balanced foreign policy to ensure that Uzbekistan becomes a significant center of international diplomacy," the head of state noted.
Economic diplomacy will remain a key pillar of foreign policy.
A significant event will be Uzbekistan's first-ever chairmanship of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), which unites over 120 countries, from 2027 to 2029.
The President also emphasized that Uzbekistan will continue to pursue a constructive policy toward Afghanistan.
Concluding his speech, Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev declared that the Uzbek people will work together to create a new, great history for the country and its "golden age." He also congratulated citizens on the 35th anniversary of their independence.
