Shavkat Mirziyoyev, together with his spouse, attended an official reception organized in the city of Belgrade on the occasion of the state leader's visit to Serbia.

The distinguished guests were welcomed by the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić, First Lady Tamara Vučić, President of the National Assembly Ana Brnabić, Prime Minister Miloš Vučević, and other officials.

At the event, it was particularly noted that the first official visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Serbia is of historical significance, opening up new opportunities for further expanding and strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.

Special attention was also paid to the fact that relations between the peoples of Uzbekistan and Serbia are developing in a traditionally friendly spirit.

In honor of the visit of the Uzbekistan delegation, the "Kula Belgrade" skyscraper was illuminated in the colors of the state flag of Uzbekistan.
