President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, who arrived in the republic on a working visit.
During the talks, it was noted that bilateral relations, thanks to active contacts at the highest level and systematic work, have reached the level of a strategic partnership.
The parties emphasized that strengthening cooperation contributes to the further development of friendly ties between the two states.
Special attention was paid to the implementation of agreements previously reached at the highest level. The parties agreed on further expanding joint projects in the trade, economic, investment, social, and humanitarian spheres.
In addition, Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani exchanged views on topical issues on the international and regional agenda.
The meeting is aimed at further strengthening the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Qatar and expanding practical interaction in key areas of cooperation.
