According to her, a 9-kilometer section of the Jo'yzar Canal has been concreted, and work is underway on another 10 kilometers. As a result of this project, 12 million cubic meters of water will be saved annually. A fishery has also begun operating in this area.

A modern preschool institution with 240 places has been completed in the Shaykhoncha neighborhood.

During the visit, a number of new initiatives aimed at increasing the tourism potential of Bukhara were discussed. In particular, the Afshona complex, the establishment of ethno-houses, the restoration of the Jo'yi Muliyon Canal, the construction of hotels near the new airport, and the development of tourism clusters were considered.

Saida Mirziyoyeva noted that "the main goal is to attract 10 million tourists per year and turn Bukhara into a full-fledged tourist destination, not just a transit area."

At the end of the visit, the shrines of the Seven Saints of Bukhara Sharif were visited.
