President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the construction process of the new National Museum of Uzbekistan being built in the city of Tashkent. The head of the President's Administration, Saida Mirziyoyeva, expressed her thoughts on the significance of the project on her Telegram channel.

Saida Mirziyoyeva emphasized the historical significance of the new National Museum. She announced that the architectural concept of the museum was developed by Tadao Ando, one of the world's famous architects and a recipient of the prestigious Pritzker Prize.
Museums and cultural venues built based on Tadao Ando's designs are highly valued in Japan, Europe, and the USA. He is world-renowned for his simplicity and precision in architectural style, as well as his unique approach to the harmony of space and light.
Saida Mirziyoyeva noted that the new National Museum will become one of the largest cultural projects in Central Asia. The complex will house exhibition halls, a library, restoration laboratories, and educational spaces.
She particularly pointed out the importance of world-class architects working on such projects of historical significance for Uzbekistan.
"The facilities they build will serve our people for many years and will become an integral part of our history and cultural heritage," Saida Mirziyoyeva said.
