Saida Mirziyoyeva congratulated the people of Uzbekistan on Independence Day.

Head of the Presidential Administration Saida Mirziyoyeva sent her congratulations to the people on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of Uzbekistan's independence. The congratulatory message noted that Independence Day is an important date for Uzbekistan, which has been radically renewed and consistently developing in recent years.

Saida Mirziyoyeva recalled that President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, in his speech at the holiday, declared the next decade of the country's development to be the "Era of National Upliftment."

“Ahead of us are the implementation of large-scale national programs and major tasks: transforming knowledge and skills into practical capital, ensuring the health and longevity of the population, building an economy based on high technologies, comprehensively saving water resources and protecting the environment, fully guaranteeing the rule of law, strengthening the institution of the mahalla, and further enhancing Uzbekistan’s prestige in the international arena. For your information, on August 28, a solemn ceremony dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held in New Tashkent with the participation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. At the event, the head of state noted that the independence of the state was achieved in 1991 thanks to the will and determination of the people. He said that the dreams of freedom of our forefathers, who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the homeland and national independence, are being fully realized in New Uzbekistan today.
