According to Saida Mirziyoyeva, concreting the canal will make it possible to provide water to 1.4 thousand hectares of land. In addition, round-the-clock recreation areas and pedestrian routes will appear along it. It is expected that 25 thousand residents of four nearby mahallas will use them.
"The issue of water supply is particularly acute for the region, so we have given this topic priority attention," the statement reads.
