World number one, Belarusian tennis player Aryna Sabalenka, has advanced to the fourth round of the 2026 US Open.

In the third-round match, she defeated the representative of Uzbekistan, Kamilla Rakhimova, ranked 92nd in the world, with a score of 6:3, 6:4.

The match lasted 1 hour and 30 minutes. Sabalenka hit 10 aces, made one double fault, and converted two of the seven break points she earned.

Rakhimova recorded two aces but made six double faults. She was unable to earn a single break point in this match.

In the next round, Sabalenka will compete for a spot in the quarterfinals. Her opponent will be determined by the outcome of the match between Russian Diana Shnaider and American Taylor Townsend.
