Russia remains Uzbekistan’s largest chocolate supplier

Uzbekistan imported nearly 28,500 tonnes of chocolate worth $123.7 million from 46 countries in January–July 2026, with Russia accounting for more than two-thirds of the total volume.

According to the National Statistics Committee, imports rose by 1,600 tonnes, or 6%, compared with the same period in 2025.

Russia delivered 19,500 tonnes, far ahead of the other leading suppliers. Ukraine was second with 2,200 tonnes, followed by Kazakhstan with 914 tonnes.

Belarus supplied 805.2 tonnes, while Lithuania accounted for 746.2 tonnes. Turkmenistan and Turkey provided 715.2 tonnes and 569.5 tonnes, respectively. Imports from all other countries totaled about 3,000 tonnes.
