Russia accounts for nearly 70 percent of Uzbekistan's chocolate imports
According to the National Statistics Committee, in January–July 2026, nearly 28.5 thousand tons of chocolate products were imported into Uzbekistan from 46 countries.
The total value of the imported products amounted to 123.7 million US dollars. This is 1.6 thousand tons or 6 percent more compared to the same period last year.
Russia was the clear leader in terms of import volume. In the first seven months of the year, 19.5 thousand tons of chocolate products were delivered from Russia to Uzbekistan.
Chocolate products coming from Russia accounted for nearly 70 percent of total imports. Ukraine ranks next, with 2.2 thousand tons of products imported from there.
914 tons of chocolate products were imported from Kazakhstan, and 805.2 tons from Belarus. Imports from Lithuania amounted to 746.2 tons.
Turkmenistan and Turkey were recorded in the subsequent positions with indicators of 715.2 tons and 569.5 tons, respectively. The remaining countries accounted for 3 thousand tons of products.
