Vietnam's ROX Group is exploring new investment initiatives in several regions of Uzbekistan at once. This was reported by regional leaders on September 11 following a meeting between the company's founder, Anh Tuan Tran, and President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The khokim (governor) of Bukhara region, Botir Zaripov, said in an interview with the Uzbekistan 24 TV channel that ROX Group had presented a project to construct major facilities on an area of over 85 hectares in Bukhara and the Bukhara district.

According to him, the investment volume is estimated at 2 billion dollars. These funds are planned to be used to build modern real estate, housing, schools, parks, and other infrastructure.

"According to our preliminary calculations, the construction of these facilities will create 5,000–6,000 new jobs, as well as contribute to improving the living conditions of more than 50,000 citizens," Botir Zaripov said.

He added that following the meeting, the president ordered the development of a roadmap for the project's implementation.

The khokim of Samarkand region, Adiz Boboev, reported that ROX Group had presented a concept for the comprehensive development of the territory near the tourist complex in Samarkand. The project involves the construction of additional hotels, service facilities, housing, and other infrastructure for tourists.

According to the khokim, the president instructed to prepare proposals jointly with the company in a short time, develop a draft decision, and submit it to the Presidential Administration.

Adiz Boboev noted that the new complex should contribute to the growth of the region's tourism potential and increase the length of stay of tourists in Samarkand.

The deputy khokim of Jizzakh region, Bakhrom Yusupov, reported that the region had also proposed a number of projects to ROX Group. Representatives of the company are expected to visit the region.

In particular, in the Arnasay district, they want to offer the investor the construction of a five-star hotel near the lake.

In the Zaamin district, another hotel project is being considered, as well as the creation of an industrial zone with an area of about 600 hectares based on industrial mortgages with the involvement of international investors.

According to Bakhrom Yusupov, Jizzakh region also proposed projects to the company for the construction of new housing and the development of industrial zones.

Vietnam's ROX Group is also considering a major project worth about 1.5 billion dollars in the Uchtepa district of Tashkent. It is proposed to build business and entertainment centers, housing, and new infrastructure on a 37-hectare territory. The company intends to develop real estate, energy, and financial services in the country.
