Residents of Uzbekistan complain of cloudy water. "Uzsuvtaminot" named a possible cause

The cloudiness of tap water may be related to the presence of air in the pipes. Representatives of JSC "Uzsuvtaminot" voiced this version on October 30 at a press conference, commenting on residents' complaints about the quality of drinking water.

According to a company representative, if you pour cloudy water into a container and wait about two minutes, it should become clear.

During the discussion, the company representative also commented on remarks regarding changes in the taste of the water. He stressed that an unfamiliar taste does not necessarily indicate non-compliance with quality requirements.

According to him, the suitability of water for drinking is determined by the results of laboratory tests. In particular, water is tested against more than 40 indicators, including iron and chlorine content.

If residents still have doubts about the quality of the water, the company's specialists are ready to visit the specified address and conduct a laboratory check.
