October 7 marked the 116th anniversary of the birth of Olim Khojayev, who starred in films such as 'Ulugbek's Star', 'Yor-yor' (Bride and Groom), and 'Rustam and Suhrab'. In honor of this date, Gazeta has prepared a quiz based on the filmography of the Uzbek theater and cinema figure.

Olim Khojayev was born on October 7, 1910, or according to some sources, on September 24, in Bukhara. He graduated from the Bukhara Education College in 1929 and worked at the Hamza Theater until 1977. He portrayed more than 100 characters in plays such as "Alisher Navoiy", "Hamza", and "Hamlet". As a director, he staged the plays "Abu Rayhon Beruniy", "Secrets of the Heart", and "The Rich Man and the Servant".
He starred in the films "Abu Ali ibn Sino" and "Sacred Blood" in 1956, and in "Children", "The Poet's Destiny", and "Second Spring" in 1958–1959. Between 1960 and 1965, he participated in "Hamza", "Yor-yor", and "The Star of Ulugbek". He also took part in films such as "Leaving the Darkness", "Hope", and "Rustam and Suhrab".
The recipient of the Order "For Outstanding Merit" passed away in 1977.
