Quiz: How well do you know the works of Rahmat Fayzi?
October 10 marked the 108th anniversary of the birth of Rahmat Fayzi, the author of such works as "Human Being", "Silk Curtain", and "The Story of Our People". On the occasion of this date, Gazeta prepared a quiz based on the works of the People's Writer of Uzbekistan.

Quiz: How well do you know the works of Rahmat Fayziy?
Rahmat Fayziyev was born on October 10, 1918, in the city of Tashkent. After graduating from high school, he studied at the Electromechanical Technical School. He worked in the newspapers "Lenin uchquni" (now "Tong yulduzi"), "Yosh leninchi" (now "Turkiston"), "Qizil O‘zbekiston" (now "O‘zbekiston ovozi"), as well as in the Writers' Union.
In 1951–1954 he worked at the "Sharq yulduzi" magazine, and in 1957–1959 at the "O‘zbekiston madaniyati" newspaper. He held the position of chief editor of the script and editorial board at the "Uzbekfilm" film studio.
After his first story titled "To‘y taraddudi" was published in 1948, his collections of stories and essays titled "To‘yona", "Ulg‘ayish", and "Birinchi bahor" were published. In 1951, his books such as "Sahroga bahor keldi" and "Ertaklar va hikoyatlar", and in 1958, "Ipak parda" were published. In 1962, "Kishilarimiz qissasi" was published.
The writer, who wrote the screenplay for the film "You Are Not an Orphan" ("Sen yetim emassan"), continued working on the film story and presented the novel "His Majesty Man" ("Hazrati inson") in 1969. In addition, he is also the screenwriter of the film "Yor-yor".
Rahmat Fayziy passed away on November 18, 1988.
