Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Abdugani Sanginov, Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, held talks with Zainab Al-Yousuf, representing the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Qatar's AL ALFIA HOLDING. The meeting focused on expanding cooperation in the oil and gas sector and implementing joint initiatives, according to the press service of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
During the dialogue, the parties noted the steady progress in trade and economic relations between Uzbekistan and Qatar and identified promising areas for future cooperation.
Priority topics included localizing lubricant production at Uzbekistan GTL facilities and establishing the production of wellhead equipment.
In addition, the meeting participants discussed AL ALFIA HOLDING's potential participation in future projects implemented by Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
Concluding the meeting, the parties confirmed their commitment to further practical work in the identified areas and the development of mutually beneficial cooperation.
