Qahramon Quronboyev has left the post of Chairman of the Neighborhoods Association — source

Qahramon Quronboyev has been dismissed from the post of Chairman of the Neighborhoods Association of Uzbekistan. A government source of "Daryo" confirmed this information.

Qahramon Quronboyev was elected Chairman of the Neighborhoods Association of Uzbekistan in January 2024 and, in this connection, was released from the post of Head of the Youth Policy Department of the Presidential Administration.

For information, the Neighborhoods Association of Uzbekistan was established by the presidential decree dated December 21, 2023. It was determined that 667 staff units of the Ministry of Poverty Alleviation and Employment would be reduced to establish the association, its regional divisions, and the department of the Cabinet of Ministers for supporting the activities of the "Mahalla Seven".

The status of the association's chairman, in terms of medical, transport, and living conditions, is equated to that of a deputy prime minister.
